Buffalo Sabres vs Washington Capitals
Time: 5:00 PM EST
When: Friday, November 25, 2016
Where: Verizon Center in Washington D.C.
Tonight in NHL action the Buffalo Sabres will head to the Nation’s Capital to square off with the Washington Capitals at the Verizon Center. The Sabres are off a very tough 2-1 home loss to the Red Wings in a shootout, while the Caps enter off a 4-3 home win over the Blues. Washington has won nine of their last 12 home games in this series.
- The Under 10-1-1 in their last 12 vs. a team with a winning record
- The Under is 26-11-14 in their last 51 games playing on one days rest
- The Under is 3-1-4 in their last eight Friday games
Going to look at the Under in this game. The Sabres can’t score right now and will be taking on Braden Holtby at home. I wouldn’t expect them to score a whole lot in this one. On the other side, we have a Washington offense that hasn’t been nearly as good as last years and the sabers have allowed just four total goals in their last three games. This one has defensive battle written all over it.
